A startling and never yet seen "weird and freakish object" with 6 tails has suddenly appeared in the solar system’s asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It was first discovered manifesting above Hawai’i as a strange fuzzy-looking orb.
Scientists were "literally dumbfounded" as they were trying to find an adequate explanation for the "out-of-this-world" astronomical event. While conventional asteroids appear as tiny points of light, the designated P/2013 P5 has 6 comet-like tails of dust radiating from it.
The asteroid is rotating so profusely that its surface is emitting dust in massive periodic eruptions that form the visible tails. In the process of spinning with a 700-foot radius the asteroid has lost only a minuscule fraction of its mass: approximately 100 to 1,000 tons worth of dust particles.
Note: Should the bill pass in its third House reading, it will need to return to the Senate for a concurrence vote that would easily pass.
